EQ6 & Synscan 12V Power Cable |

This cable provides power to a Synta EQ6 Telescope mount (with or without the Synscan controller) from a cigarette lighter socket. It also solves the power problems experienced by users of Synscan based EQ6's when using the supplied power cable (LED blinks on slew and a grating noise is heard from the motors which appear to stall) They have a 3A reset-able electronic fuse backed up by a conventional 8A fuse and are constructed using a heavy gauge cable to minimise power drop. EQ6 Replacement Altitude Adjustment Bolts |

These are replacement bolts for the bendy ones supplied as standard with the head. They are made from stainless steel for added stiffness and durability with a shaped tip to prevent digging in during adjustment. No tools are required for either fitting or use as the elevation adjuster is fitted with a black plastic adjusting handle for easy fine adjustment, while the locking bolt has an easy to use 2" black plastic hand knob.

They are designed to replace the relatively short Azimuth adjusters fitted as standard on the EQ6 mounts. Primarily designed to aid Polar drift alignments by providing a more positive feel handgrip with more clearance between the handgrip and the mount body. The larger handgrip also makes fine adjustment easier. No tools are required for either fitting or use of the azimuth adjusters.

Replacement Hand Knob for EQ6 & HEQ5 Tripod Spreader Plate |

This is a replacement knob that screws onto the M12 central head attachment rod in order to hold the spreader plate in place on the tripod. It offers more hand clearance than the original, so less scuffed knuckles and is ideal for those who have either lost or damaged the original or who want a bit more clearance. 2" in diameter and made from black plastic with a brass insert for ease of use.

Stainless Steel Counterweights for EQ6 |

These counterweights are specifically made to fit the 18mm EQ6 counterweight shaft and are made from Stainless steel with a stainless locking bolt and a brass pin to prevent marking the shaft. The standard sizes are 5.2Kg reduced diameter 4" (as shown in the picture), 5.2Kg standard diameter 6", 12.5Kg standard diameter and 16Kg standard diameter. Other sizes are available to order so if you have a specific requirement please email us with your requirements As counterweights are only made to order please allow a minimum of 28 days for manufacture and delivery.

Set of 3 Tripod Foot Pads |

These 120mm diameter pads help to prevent the tips of the tripod leg sinking into soft ground or slipping on a hard surface, they also provide some degree if vibration absorption between the tripod and the ground. They are made from very durable glass reinforced nylon and have provision for 2 holes that can opened out to allow the pads to be pegged down for added stability.

12V DC Power Regulator for EQ5, EQ4 & EQ3-2 Motor Drives |

This is a voltage regulator that takes 12V from a cigarette socket and regulates it down to provide 6V required by the motor drive units supplied for the EQ5, EQ4 and EQ3 mounts, allowing these to be run from a rechargeable 12V power pack instead of the battery pack supplied. It is switch able to provide the following output voltages 3V, 3.5V, 5V, 6V, 6.5V & 7V at up to 2A and comes with a set of 7 different connection adaptors to allow it to be used with a wide range of other equipment including Digital cameras and PDA's (please email for more information).
