This is a coiled power lead for ETX users which is normally 0.7m long but will extend to over 1.2m to allow the scope to be run from a 12V cigarette lighter socket. It has a 5A fuse so it could be used with LX or LXD scopes but could be a bit on the short side, so we recommend it for ETX users (Please note that this is not suitable for ETX60 or ETX70 scopes as these do not have an external power connection) |

12V DC Converter for use with larger LX200 Classics |

This is a voltage regulator that takes 12V from a cigarette socket and converts it up to provide 18V preferred by the motors on the larger LX200 classic models. This provides enhanced slew performance. It is switch able to provide the following output voltages 12V, 15V, 18V, 21V & 24V at up to 2.5A and comes with a set of 6 different connection adaptors to allow it to be used with a wide range of other equipment including older laptops that require less than 2.5A. It can also be used to provide a regulated 12V supply preferred by some video cameras such as the Mintron's. (please email for more information). |

LXD55 Gear Retaining Screw Upgrade Kit |

This kit consists of 6 (2 per axis + 2 spares) replacement grub screws for securing the Aluminium worm drive gear and the Brass motor output gear on the LXD55 motors, these grub screws are made from A2 stainless steel and so can be tightened much better than the Meade originals. So no more loose gears. The kit also contains 2 Allen keys to fit both the original grub screws and the replacements (both Allen keys are the same size so that you have a spare if the first gets damaged). These screws are direct replacements for the Meade originals so no alterations to the gears are required in order to fit them. |
